In this installment, players experience the thrill of encountering animatronic characters from the FNAF series in real-world environments through the use of their mobile devices. How to Play Five Nights At Freddy's AR: Special Delivery:
- Flashlight Mechanic: In AR mode, players can activate the flashlight by pressing the button located in the bottom right corner of the screen. The flashlight helps players navigate dark environments and reveals the presence of animatronics. However, prolonged use of the flashlight drains the player's battery over time.
- Shock Under Control: Players can use a Controlled Shock to disable nearby animatronics. This feature is triggered when an animatronic approaches the player and removes its mask. - Freddy Fazbear Mask: When facing Toy animatronics, players can utilize the Freddy Fazbear Mask to scare them away. Wearing the mask is crucial when dealing with aggressive Toy animatronics, as simply looking away may not deter them. Depending on the type of Toy animatronic encountered, different strategies may be required when wearing the mask.
- Photo Booth Mode: In Photo Booth Mode, players can capture snapshots of their encounters with animatronics. They have the option to manipulate the size, rotation, and placement of animatronic plush suits in the photos. Additionally, players can purchase various photo frames to customize their snapshots using Faz-Coins.
- XP System: After each encounter, players earn XP based on their performance. Winning battles typically reward higher XP (20–30), while losing battles yield lower XP (1–2). Accumulating a certain amount of XP allows players to level up and progress through the game.
